How to use L2P digital logbook, a guide for supervisors & professional driving instructors.

L2P digital logbook is accepted by Roads and Maritime Services and Service NSW. It is designed to be used for Learners, Supervisors as well as Professional Driving Instructors. You can also carry over hours you’ve recorded using your paper logbook onto L2P app as well.

Here is how you can start using L2P app with your learner:

Download the L2P Learner logbook app and register as a Supervisor or an Instructor with your license details.

Once your account is confirmed, the learners you will be supervising can add you to their profile by your license number. Once you are linked with your learner, you can start your driving sessions.

If you are going to be driving your own car during the supervised driving sessions, make sure you add your car under “My cars” section on your app.

Open your app and wait for the learner driver to select you as the supervisor and choose and submit the session car and the car’s odometer details.

You will receive a message on your L2P Learner logbook app requesting you to confirm the details entered are correct. Once you confirm, your session will start.

At the end of your driving session, the learner driver will be ending the session on the L2P learner logbook app. The learner then will have to confirm the session time and enter the odometer value, road, and weather and traffic conditions as well as the learning goal accomplished during the session and submit this for the supervisor’s approval.

You will see this session report with these details on your app screen and once you approve, your driving session will be recorded and your learner will be able to see this in Completed sessions tab.

If you have any questions, you can always go to the Help section of our app and browse through frequently asked questions or talk to us through live chat on http://help.l2p.co
